2018-19 Academic year started with an energetic in-house innovative and involving idea where students are divided into 4 houses participating in various events and quarterly competitions leading to the "House of the Quarter" award. With all new way of learning with fun we bring you the fifth edition of "KRISHTI"; the quarterly in-house magazine of the students, by the students, for the students.

A well awaited Seminar on UI/UX Designing was Hosted by Quantum Inventions. Students were given thorough information on this essential part of web designing. Mr. Robert, Senior UX Designer shared his experience and many important information on this subject.
Like every year, MAAC Girishpark arranged an Indoor photography seminar and also a mind blowing Kumortuli Photography workshop this year hosted by Mr. Pritam Das, Contemporary Visual Arts Practitioner based in Kolkata.
Like every quarter, MAAC Girishpark arranged for value added sessions taken by their technical instructors. This quarter, there were essential sessions on Introduction to Bootstrap 4.0 and a live workshop on Clay Modeling.
MAAC GIRISHPARK conducted a unique competition on Football world cup fever, where students had to create a "Creative Visualization of the Winning Team".
Like every year, this year also MAAC Girishpark came up with 15th August competition for all Internal students. MAAC Girishpark launched "Digital Poster Competition" over the theme - "FREEDOM - YOUR VISION".
MOVIE SCREENINGS are held every month. MOVIE SCREENINGS are held every month. Entertainment Aside, A brief session of discussion is conducted about the movie screened. The Students are asked to give their opinion of the featured movie. The Respective moderator then goes on to discuss the making, the methods and provides the students with helpful trivia.
Movies shown this quarter were “Ready Player One”, “Star Wars – The Last Jedi” and “Hotel Transylvania 3”.
